Words cannot explain how happy I am. Friday night my parents told me that I'm going to Kentucky!

And this weekend I had an orientation. It was so much fun! I just loved being there on campus and knowing that soon I could call it home!

I have my student ID, and I registered for all my classes. It's exciting!

Losing the State Championship sucked...
but I was on TV like 20 times tonight!

Tonight was really fun.
I enjoyed seeing everyone, I felt like it had been a while.


PS {to everyone}: The Departed is the most amazing movie ever! You must see it. And I mean...must!

So basketball is for sure now my favorite sport.
I always had a soft spot for it, but tonight put the icing on the cake!

We killed Franklin in the Substate round! It was seriously like a movie...

1. We won our second region basketball game tonight!! Ah! It was so exciting. Intense, but exciting!
I can't wait for the next road trip on Thursday!
Driving makes me tired.

2. Our first scrimmage is tomorrow. I'm kind of excited that softball season is finally here. I must admit I have missed it a little. I really hope she lets me pitch tomorrow because I've waited for this chance for a long time.

3. No One Tree Hill tomorrow. This makes me sad.

4. I can't believe it's almost March. It doesn't seem possible. Time is flying by.

5. I'm really excited about Prom, now!!

I'm in one of those weird moods that I hate. I feel sad almost, but I don't know why?

I'm beginning to learn that I am the most confusing person, EVER. I never make up my mind about anything. And then those times that I do, I change it two days later.
I enjoy the chase too much. Once I have something I don't want it anymore. Then when I don't have it again, I want it back. And it's just an endless cycle. I hate being this way it just sets me up for disappointment.

So tonight after our softball meeting, I had a heart-to-heart with my coach (Mrs. Whitfield).
She actually did have meaningful stuff to say.
Unlike her usual scatter-brained comments.
Weird as it is, I really did get some good advice from her.
Just about life in general.





Pray for the Turner & Purvis family & all other relatives.

It finally hit me.
I "woke up" and realized these are the last days I will ever see some of these people.
Particularly the ones at school.
It makes me sad.
Soon will come a time when I will no longer walk down the halls and see the same familiar faces.
I want to make the best of these last days with those people.
I guess that part of me enjoys school now.

Prom?
No date.
No plans.
I know it's still really early but everyone is talking about it constantly.
I'm beginning to worry.
I have a couple options.
But I don't know if I want to choose either one of them.
I'd rather have a guy ask me, because then I know that he genuinely wants to go with me.
Ok that sounded really superficial, and I'm very sorry.

I kinda confused about some stuff at the moment.
Pray that I find clarity.

College?
I'm still worried I won't get enough money to go to UK.
I have my heart set there.
And I just don't want to be let down.

School sucks.
I sleep through almost all of my classes.
I've been doing this same routine for the past 13 years.
You'd think they'd give us a break by now.

So I can just be with my friends.

I want to go there so badly.

I miss the most important people in my life.

But, then again, maybe it's me.

Softball has begun.
It also sucks.
I just feel like there's not any point.
But it is my last year.
So I better make the best of it.

I haven't seen Brandon Hester in forever.
I miss him.

And make sure the one's you love know it.

I guess I kind of already got what I wanted.
Maybe I'll fully receive it one day.
But it's still hard to understand.

So, tonight I went to see the best movie I think I've ever seen in my whole life!

I highly suggest that everyone go see Pursuit of Happyness.

It really made me realize how truly blessed I am to have the things I have. It made me want to give up everything I have so that someone, who is less fortunate, can have one moment of happiness.

It made me laugh. It made me cry...

It made me happy.

Last night, I got this overwhelming feeling to stop trying to plan my future myself...

I think, I'm slowly getting back to that point of putting God solely first in my life. It's such a good feeling to not worry. Yes, I still worry. But I mean it feels good to stop worrying every second of everyday about everything.

God is so good. He makes me think about the good in my life and forget the bad.

Today I looked back over my extremely old Myspace comments. It made me so happy. It made me remember things that had happened so long ago. It made smile and cry. But it was a happy cry. Giving God thanks for everything that He's done for me makes me so happy. I think it's the only way to constantly keep me in a good mood.

So, just give thanks. And remember what He's done in the past. So, you know that He'll do even bigger and better things for you in the future.
